The AlphaTheta XDJ-AZ brings the same intuitive layout and responsive feel as the top-tier CDJ-3000 and DJM-A9, delivering a seamless and natural DJ experience. Using the system feels like an extension of your creativity, allowing for more expressive performances. With full-size jog wheels that mirror those on the CDJ-3000, pitch bending and scratching are exceptionally smooth. The mixer section is modelled after the DJM-A9 and designed with an intuitive layout where all controls are strategically placed for optimal playability. User-friendly buttons let you easily assign Beat FX, empowering you to shape your sound and express yourself through your mix. Mastering the XDJ-AZ ensures you are well-prepared to handle club-standard gear, making transitions to professional setups effortless.
Built-in Wi-Fi® and Multi-Media Support
rekordbox CloudDirectPlay
With CloudDirectPlay, you can access your entire cloud-based rekordbox library directly from the XDJ-AZ. This feature allows you to use the most recent version of your playlists and performance data, like Hot Cue information, and even make updates from the system itself. This ensures a streamlined DJ experience, allowing you to handle all your preparation from within the unit.
Note: A subscription to the rekordbox Creative or Professional plan, or the Cloud Option, is required for CloudDirectPlay.
StreamingDirectPlay
The XDJ-AZ also supports Beatport Streaming through its StreamingDirectPlay feature, enabling direct access to Beatport's vast library of dance music and curated playlists. The system provides essential track data like waveforms, BPM, and grid information, helping you easily integrate fresh music into your sets.
Note: A Beatport Streaming Professional or Advanced plan subscription is required for StreamingDirectPlay.
Comprehensive Device and DJ Application Compatibility
In addition to playing tracks from USB drives, the XDJAZ allows you to connect to your PC, Mac, or mobile device. You can also add a personal flair to your performances by connecting external devices such as turntables or samplers. The system’s USB Type-C port supports direct PC/Mac connection, enabling the use of rekordbox for Mac/Windows in Performance mode or Serato DJ Pro*1 without needing a paid subscription. Plus, with the Wi-Fi® connection, you can access tracks on your PC/Mac or mobile device via rekordbox Link Export, eliminating the need for cables.*2

Large Touchscreen for Enhanced Control and Performance
The XDJ-AZ features a 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen that provides greater visual detail and smoother system control. You can now view up to 13 tracks simultaneously, allowing for quicker track selection. Advanced functions like Playlist Bank (quickly access up to 4 playlists), Touch Preview (preview tracks in a playlist without loading them), and Touch Cue (for previewing upcoming sections of the current track) streamline navigation and track selection. The screen also displays Performance Pad and Beat FX statuses simultaneously, ensuring you have all the necessary performance information at a glance.
4-Deck Standalone Playback
The AlphaTheta XDJ AZ’s 4-deck playback support offers unrivalled flexibility, whether layering sounds, creating live mashups, playing back-to-back with another DJ, or getting multiple tracks lined up for perfect timing. The system also integrates seamlessly with CDJs, allowing you to use multiple decks without switching between them. With PRO DJ LINK™ compatibility, all players are synced with beat and on-air information, giving you total control during your set.
Ultra-Low-Latency Wireless Monitoring with SonicLink
The all-in-one DJ System features a built-in SonicLink transmitter where you can experience ultra-low-latency wireless monitoring with the AlphaTheta HDJ-F10 professional DJ headphones. Pairing is as simple as pressing a button and once connected, you can move freely around the booth or stage without worrying about tangled cables. SonicLink transmits audio 20 times faster than Bluetooth® SBC, ensuring zero delay between your actions and the sound output. Note: The XDJ-AZ does not support a wireless connection to the WAVE-EIGHT portable wireless DJ speaker.
Professional, Club-Ready Sound Quality
The XDJ-AZ incorporates numerous enhancements over its predecessor, the XDJ-XZ, particularly in sound quality. A 32-bit D/A converter from ESS Technology delivers crystal-clear, dynamic audio that can fill large venues. Additionally, the 3-Band Master EQ allows you to adjust the sound to match the venue's acoustics. A dedicated mixer settings button provides instant on-screen access to check and fine-tune mixer configurations.
